Burning Challe

According to Halocho, “Challe” must preferably be burned.

Doing this at home is problematic, as it can’t be done in an oven used for other baking too. That’s why the Kehila offers a Challe-burning service.

Several times a year there is a possibility of bringing the “Challe”-pieces to the Kehile office where they are being collected and burned in a special oven outside town.
